Position Description:
Manages the facilities operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, and custodial activities required to maintain the physical facilities of the complex.
Develops, monitors, and controls the facilities budget of the complex. Prepares periodic reports including financial forecasts in order to ensure compliance with Departmental expectations and budget.
Coordinates long-range maintenance plans with the Physical Plant and Construction, Maintenance & Interior Design, including building alterations, furnishings and equipment acquisitions for the complex.
Interviews, hires, trains, supervises, evaluates and disciplines the subordinate supervisory and support staff of the complex.
Inspects buildings in order to ensure that University, State and Federal safety and mandated compliance regulations are followed and to check on quality and quantity of work performed.
