General Function:    The Assistant Director of Facilities Management, Custodial administers and directs the University’s custodial services program to ensure that all University facilities are clean, safe, and well maintained. The position develops and implements campus custodial policies and procedures, establishes cleaning standards, work planning activities and staffing models, oversees performance management and budgeting for custodial operations. The position develops plans for, and responds to, weather and other campus events and emergency situations. The position provides leadership and supervision over custodial staff, assists in the acquisition of contract services for exceptional, specialized, or emergency services and maintains appropriate administrative and personnel records affecting custodial operations.
