This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE). This is a standard position description designed for use in any organizational unit within OCE to aid in the flexibility of responding to the needs of Congress and the Supreme Court in support of our mission to Service, Preserve and Inspire. All roles within OCE support the project development lifecycle through the renewal, renovation, and maintenance of some of the Nation’s most treasured assets because working together we strengthen and showcase the foundation, facilities, and functions supporting American democracy. The incumbent serves as an expert Architect and provides program leadership and technical direction, development, execution, and integration for Facility Condition Assessment, Historic Preservation Documentation, and related planning and feasibility studies.
